The house was build after travelling 4 years through Africa, inspired by many locations and following a mediteranean style with a lot of open spaces.
The construction followed sustainable practices, including passive design allowing the winter sun in the house and a covered arched patio to stop the sun in summer. No AC or air cooler in this house.
The large pool heated by the sun overlooks the Helderberg mountain, False Bay and Table Mountain in the far end.
Build on the top level of Gordon's Bay Heights, the 360 degre views are exceptional and the unfenced back garden is the Kogelberg Nature Reserve.
